4k Display issue

3 posts in this topic

I tried to run Just Cause 3 MP after borrowing an 4k Monitor to test it out. After I switched to 4k in the settings, the whole UI zoomed into the top right corner.

I'm currently running:

- a Samsung U28E590D Monitor attached with Displayport cable

- a MSI RX470 8GB

- a AMD FX8350

and 16 Gigs of RAM

The previous monitor was a WQHD Monitor from ASUS. The Asus VX24AH, it was attached via a HDMI cable.

If you didn't already switch back the settings out of 4k, then there's your problem. Also keep in mind that JC3 was never meant to run at 4k. So naturally you'd get some issues with that. Also note that the RX470 was never meant to play full games at 4k, much like NVidia's GTX 1060. You're better off with setting to maybe 1440p or 1080p.
