    Survival Island Script Pack

Hey everyone! We've decided to discontinue development for our Survival Island server. However, we're releasing all of the scripts so that you can use them for your own server and learn from them. Download below. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us. Have fun! I get the city, but no overlay.

Run JC3MP in compatiblity mode for windows 7.

    Infinite Load into Server

Try using the public beta branch. Other than that, you'll have to wait for the 1.1 update which should hopefully fix your issue. Maybe try compatibility mode for windows 7 again, because that has worked in every other case.

    No menu in startup

You asked on Discord as well and I responded, but you didn't respond to me. I'll paste my response here. Do you mean that you just see a blurry city with no menus when you start up JC3MP? If so, run JC3MP in compatibility mode for windows 7.

    Infinite Load into Server

I don't see anything wrong in the log.

    Infinite Load into Server

Do you have any strange configurations on your computer that might prevent you (or JC3MP) from accessing appdata? Also, please attach your cef.log here, found in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Just Cause 3 Multiplayer\cef And just a side note: this issue isn't an infinite loading problem. Your game loaded fine, but the UI didn't load, so you can't join any servers. And yes the gitlab bugtracker is still used, but your issue is an extremely isolated one because 99% of the time compatibility mode fixes the problem.

    Gamemode Ideas

Wow, I never knew you had a golf idea! I actually made a golf gamemode in JC2MP that was very similar to your idea! That's crazy. And it might come to JC3MP soon as well, so keep your eyes peeled.

    Gamemode Ideas

Do you have a cool idea for a gamemode that you want to share with the community? This is the right place! Describe your gamemode in as much detail as possible here so that other community members who are interested in developing packages in Just Cause 3 Multiplayer can make your idea come to life. Or, you can start making your gamemode right now! The scripting docs can be found here. If you need help, you can visit the scripting channel in Discord or post right here on the forums.

WorldMap - Teleport around the map!

Today's package is a simple map of Medici. You can left click to teleport anywhere on the map and right click to set waypoints. You can also see all other players in the server on the map. By default, press O to open/close the map. This map is a modified version of the one that was featured in my Smugglers Run alpha test a few weeks ago. Download & Installation instructions here!

Chat bubbles that appear above players' heads! Download & installation instructions here Note: This requires Chat2.

chat2 - An advanced chat replacement

Hi everyone! Today I'm releasing my fully custom chat to the public. It functions nearly the same as the default chat, except it has some extra features and looks nice and clean as well. Here are a couple screenshots to showcase what this chat is capable of. (as seen on Just Cause - Roleplay) It's very easy to customize it to make it your own! Play around with it and let me know what you think! Download and more info here!

Sorry about that! I've updated a lot and fixed a bunch of freeroam related issues. Please redownload the package and follow the instructions again, and it should work!

    Questions about checkpoints

If there's a feature you would like to see, you can submit a request for it here. Try changing type - otherwise not currently. There is another hash, but it apparently doesn't work. Not currently. Not currently. This will likely be available in the future. For now, you can use timers in CEF and use events to get a similar functionality. Checkpoint.type is the type of checkpoint - 0 for land based, 1 is wingsuit. That's a known issue. Also, these types of questions would be great for the Discord because you'll get much faster responses (forums are a little slow).

    Some Questions

I don't know what that is. If you want something to occur after a set amount of time, use setTimeout.
  20. Lord Farquaad

A file failed during file transfer.

Two different issues: Your issue is solved by deleting everything in %LocalAppdata%/Just Cause 3 Multiplayer and restarting your server. If that doesn't work, try again. It might take a few tries. This issue is being worked on for the next update. Your friend's issue is caused by you not forwarding all the ports. You need to forward 4200-4203 in order to allow people to join.

    Some Questions

Known bugs can be found here. Your issue sounds like a bug to me. Try giving the player the weapon after a delay (1 or 2 seconds) and see if the problem persists.

Server crashes while many players are online

Folder names don't matter. Lockups are sometimes caused by host issues - are you getting a lot of missed server frames?

Server crashes while many players are online

You could try updating the default packages to the latest ones by downloading them from here: https://dl.nanos.io/packages.zip

What packages are you using? Any custom ones?

    Communication between packages ?

This is in a UI right? AKA one made with new WebUIWindow? If so, then you'll need to communicate a slightly different way. There are three different "mediums" in scripting - server, client, and CEF (UI). This can be seen in the page I linked to you earlier. Each medium communicates using events. jcmp.events.Add does not work in CEF - use jcmp.AddEvent. If you want to call an event, use jcmp.CallEvent. Likewise, on the client, if you want to call or receive UI events it can be done with jcmp.ui.CallEvent and jcmp.ui.AddEvent. There are examples of this in the default packages. You can also debug your UI and find errors by navigating to http://localhost:13172/ in Chrome while you are in game. Go to the console tab and you'll see the errors; this would have made you aware that there is no jcmp.events in CEF.
